A classic, instantly recognisable character, Chaplin's Little Tramp character epitomizes physical comedy and grace.
Being a mime artist, Rod's progression to portraying the iconic Charlie was a natural one, in which he has done so throughout the years.

A Chaplin tribute short film made for the 'Chaplin Days 2021' event at the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum, California.
Winner of the 'Best Use of Humor' Award.



'Albury pays tribute to Charlie Chaplin'
During September and October of 2018, Rod was asked to make various appearances as Charlie not only for the Charlie Chaplin exhibition (Albury Library & Museum) and its film festival (Regent Cinemas) but to also host the Guiness Book of Records attempt to have as many Charlie look alikes as possible in the one place - this particular place was QEII Square, Albury.
The Charlie Chaplin Exhibition, which is organized by avid Chaplin collector Paddy MacDonald.
